The Company combines the skills and experience of a number of associates each having more than 20 years experience in the International Oil and Gas industry.

While we are particularly strong in terms of Offshore and Deepwater development experience the collective expertise also covers Drilling and Wells,  Construction Management as well as Project Financing and Financial Control. In addition, the experience has been gained in all the major oil and gas arenas and the international network of contacts available to the company is significant.

Key Personnel

Tony Henderson
Tony is a Chartered Engineer with an MBA and has over 27 years experience in the offshore oil and gas industry gained from a variety of technical , commercial and operational assignments in all the main offshore centres around the world including, dep Vice President of the Technip DeepWater Field Development Division, Project Director for Technip SPAR business, Corporate Business Development Manager for Coflexip Stena Offshore and  General Manager of a North Sea Early Production alliance. Tony established Petroleum Developments (PDI) in 2003.

Barry Smith
Barry is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant with over 30 years oil and gas experience gained from a variety of managerial and financial assignments around the world including Vice President Finance for Grant Prideco's Drilling Division, Manufacturing Manager for Energy Ventures in Middle East and India and Regional Manager for Oceaneering in the Middle East. Barry has been a key member of the PDI team since 2006.
